Baby-Friendly Screenings at The Majestic
We host specially adapted screenings for parents and carers with babies roughly every two weeks. These screenings are designed to finish in time for school pick-up wherever possible.*

- Lower the volume.
- Show the subtitled version of the film.
- Welcome pushchairs, buggies and car seats into the screen.
- Allow movement and noise throughout, so you’re free to feed, change, and soothe your baby as needed.
What Is a Parent and Baby Screening
These screenings are exclusively for parents or carers with babies under 12 months. They’re a great way to enjoy the latest films in a comfortable and understanding setting.
Thanks to a special licence, we’re able to show age-rated films (including 15 and 18 certificates) during these sessions, so you don’t have to miss out on the newest releases.
Please note: Parent and Baby screenings do not run during school holidays.
Important Info & Policie
- Pushchairs, buggies and car seats are allowed in the screen but must be placed in designated areas (e.g. wheelchair bays or against the front of the screen), and must not block any emergency exits.
- Only adults with a baby under 12 months will be admitted.
- Groups are limited to 4 adults max. Any children under 16 must be accompanied by a separate adult (within the 4-person limit).
Babies under 1 year are allowed into Parent and Baby screenings of 15 and 18 certificate films, but not into standard 15 or 18-rated shows. They are also allowed into regular U, PG and 12 rated screenings.
*We do our best to ensure Parent and Baby screenings finish in time for school pick-up, but timings may vary – please double-check the film runtime before booking.
